“2008 Financial Crisis: A Ten-Year Review” was a major event marking the anniversary of the 2008 global financial crisis. In conjunction with Annual Review of Financial Economics and New York University, the 5th Annual GCFP Conference was a two-day invitation-only event. Presenters including Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond, Robert Engle, Tim Geithner, Mervyn King, Deborah Lucas, and Jean-Claude Trichet provided personal accounts of the events and what they taught us. The conference, which took place in New York City on November 8-9, 2018, was the singular event marking the 10th anniversary of the 2008 financial crisis.
